Social Media Procedures Handbook – The Office of Civic Engagement at Rutgers University, Camden Campus

Housing premier K-12, urban agriculture, and community based programs, The Office of Civic Engagement at Rutgers University in Camden, NJ is the liaison between the university and the community of Camden. This handbook was created with the hopes that the office could utilize digital marketing interns to assist in the department’s digital efforts. It contains various sections which detail departmental policies, content creation guidelines, and templates for the social media management process. All research, copy, and artwork I completed independently with 2 rounds of approval from my immediate supervisor. It will be used as a guideline and reference for future interns on social media policies and procedures of the department. Click here.

Digital Branding Project – TearyEyez.com

TearyEyez.com is an apparel brand with a focus on civic engagement in the Philadelphia region. I met Amir Miller, the brand’s creator via social media and introduced him to the team. I managed the project from start to finish with our in-house web developer and contracted photographer. My direct role was to facilitate branding strategy, content creation, and copyediting. Social Media Marketing Campaign – BlackLustre.com

BlackLustre.com an Arizona-based urban apparel brand for the “woke” consumer. I met Steven, the brand’s creator via social media and quickly offered my services as a freelancer. We developed a Instagram influencer advertising campaign for a 30-day cycle during “Back-to-School” season of 2018. The campaign exceeded expectations yielding a thirty-seven percent conversion rate in web sales and increased the instagram follower base by nearly fifty-percent.
